I just love how kids minds work!! Today I was giving the famous "there are starving children in Africa" speech to Julie. Since we have been dealing with a lot of complaining and whining every night at dinner. So as I am telling Julie that she should be grateful that she has food to eat at all, even if it's not her favorite. Lily says "Mommy I know somewhere else that has kids with nothing to eat" and I say "oh really?" "where is that?", She says "South America, duh!". Well seeing as we have never talked about children in South America, I found it quite amazing that she has picked this up somewhere. They are way ahead of where I was at 5 years old!

I am so excited! We will be having our pictures taken by a friend soon. It will be our first outdoors family pictures. I've always wanted to have a more relaxed family picture. But, I always get lured in by those "package deals" at other places with pull down backdrops. So this will be fun!! Can't wait!!

The twins turned 5 yesterday! I can't believe they are getting so big! We had a party out back and had a great time. Although it was a little bittersweet since we moved, because we really miss our friends that used to live here, it just isn't the same without them. It was weird having a party back there and not seeing them. But, we are making new friends and getting to know some people better. Julie and Lily really racked up on the gifts...and we will be making a special trip to Build a Bear this week!

WoW! I am amazed how computer illiterate I am! Everyone has a blog but me and I am really having trouble figuring it out! I can't figure out how to get to see other peoples blogs...or invite other people to look at mine..maybe I'm not cut out for this! I feel like it is going to require a class to figure it all out!
